PAST GATHERING
NEW YORK: NETWORK OF INDUSTRIES LEADERS
February 4-7, 2016
New York City, known for its vibrant business and Jewish life, is where most of American Jewry’s ancestors first stepped foot in this country. A Jewish epicenter of business and social opportunities, it is home to the Stock Exchange, thousands of companies, and tens of thousands of Jewish and Israeli entrepreneurs. Specifically designed to provide UF Hillel college students, who have completed a Birthright trip, this experience provides the critical skills and connections that top companies seek through a Jewish lens. Participating in this experience will help to realize your life and career goals, as well as build your connections to our Jewish ecosystem for a competitive advantage moving forward.
In preparation for the experience, you will have two workshops anchoring professional development to Jewish wisdom. Following, from Thursday evening to Sunday you will be immersed in the Manhattan lifestyle. You will form relationships with entrepreneurs, potential employers, community leaders, and to have a personal meeting with top-Jewish or Israeli executives at top New York companies; or to meet with a leading venture capitalist about your entrepreneurial pursuit.
