From Gold Rush to Silicon Valley
This experience is specifically designed for college students interested in meeting dynamic Jewish and Israeli entrepreneurs, strengthening their networking skills and building their connections for career advancement. Home to many of the world's largest high-tech corporations, thousands of tech start-up companies, and tens of thousand of Jewish and Israeli entrepreneurs, Silicon Valley is a hotbed of Jewish community and professional opportunities.
From Thursday night to Sunday participants will expand their minds, professional networks, personal relationships, and souls with San Francisco and Palo Alto Jewish tech and business leaders. Prior to the experience, participants are required to attend two workshops to prepare for the trip. Through the three days/nights career advancement and Shabbaton experience, students will visit Google headquarters, have lunch with Jewglers (Jewish men and women who work at Google), have a personalized appointment with a leading Jewish entrepreneurs, form relationships with local Israelis in the tech scene, and have the unique opportunity to interview with one of these industry leaders or pitch an entrepreneurial idea to a venture capitalist.
