From the Seaport to Cambridge

 

Boston is known for its place at the forefront of American History, elite academic institutions, and beautiful brick-laden brownstones. Boston is also a leader in global innovation, career opportunities, numerous Israeli startups and a tapestry of diverse Jewish life.

 

This four day, three night experience is specifically designed to provide IACT Hillel Birthright alumni an opportunity to immerse themselves in the innovative Boston community and gain the critical skills and connections that top employers are looking for. Participating in this experience will help you on your path to personal and career advancement, as well as connect you to our Jewish ecosystem for a competitive advantage moving forward.

THURSDAY

5:00 pm: Meet @ Hotel

 

6:30-8:30 pm: Dinner and facilitated conversation with Career Up Industry Leaders.

FRIDAY

10am-11am: Sit-down with Stas Gayshan @ Cambridge Innovation Center​ (CIC)


11am-12pm: Conversations with Career Up Now Industry Leaders

12-1pm: Lunch @ CIC

 

1:30-2:30 pm: Small group interviews with Career Up Industry Leaders

3:30 pm: Free time/prepare for Shabbat


7 pm: Services @ Tremont Shul


8:30 pm: Shabbat dinner

SATURDAY

9:30 am: Giving Circle
(an event to build community, as well as personal and professional networks)

 

1pm-3 pm: Social action project 


4pm-7pm: Free Time


7 pm: Holocaust Memorial walk followed by Havdallah


7:45 pm: Dinner

SUNDAY

10:00 am: Sunday morning chat with Career Up Now Industry Leaders including:

Eugene Buff, Innovation Broker, Lecturer, and President/Founder Primary Care Innovation Consulting speaks on "Considering an Innovative Future" 

11:30 am: Debriefing and Goodbyes
